Hi, I’m Yolanda Kingdon, a professional photographer based in Rhoose, near Cardiff, South Wales. With over twenty years of experience in the industry, I’ve worked with aspiring and professional actors, musicians, dancers, and models helping each of them feel confident and capture images they’re proud of.
Whether you’re building a brand new portfolio or simply need an update, I have a package to suit you. Every session is relaxed and unhurried - I’ll guide your posing throughout so you never have to wonder what to do with your hands.
I use high quality professional camera and lighting equipment, combining both natural and studio lighting during sessions to give you a versatile set of images with a range of moods and looks.
A fully equipped studio in Rhoose, near Cardiff
My studio is based in Rhoose, South Wales - a private, calm space fully set up for professional headshot and portrait sessions. It’s designed to help you feel at ease the moment you walk in, so we can focus entirely on getting the best images for you.
I have a range of different backdrops available to create a variety of looks within a single session, alongside both studio lighting and natural light setups. High quality camera and lighting equipment is used throughout - because the quality of your images matters.

Portrait & Headshot Day's
Each month I will hold a portrait | headshot day.
At the beginning of the month I will announce that the photoshoot session is up and coming - which will always be toward the end of the month.
The sessions will be aprox 1 hour per person & I will photograph no more than 8 people per headshot event.
It will be based on first come first served basis - a £50 deposit will be needed to secure your time slot & the remaining balance will be payable the day of your photoshoot. ​

Self-Tapes
For Actors & Actresses £150
I offer dedicated self-tape sessions for actors and actresses, filmed in my fully equipped studio in Rhoose. A self-tape shot in a professional environment makes a real difference - clean framing, controlled lighting and no background distractions, so your performance is the only thing the casting director focuses on.
Whether you're submitting for a single role or preparing multiple scenes, I'll handle all the technical setup so you can arrive, settle in and perform. You'll leave with polished, industry-ready footage. Self-tape sessions can also be combined with a headshot package on the same day.
